Internet Marketing Workshops in Pemberton BC

I'm hosting a special one-time Internet Marketing workshop in Pemberton BC Canada on Monday & Wednesday June 11 and 13, 6:30 to 9 p.m. This workshop is sponsored by Tourism Pemberton & Community Futures Development Corporation of Howe Sound.

Normally I charge $249 per workshop but for this event I'm only charging $20. What's the catch? You must be an active member of the Pemberton & District Chamber of Commerce. That's it.

We've got room for 12 people plus a few Custom Fit Online Solutions staff. Our Webmaster, Robert Valcourt, will also likely be in attendance to add his input. He's a great source of information... especially when it comes to the development and technical side of building and marketing websites.

The first evening involves an overview of the Search Engine Marketing process. The second evening will get down to more hands-on examples of how to use Search Engine Marketing to promote your website... includes some examples of optimizing a website, setting up a pay-per-click campaign and utilizing data from web analytics programs.

About Building Online Communities

Last week I attended the International Internet Marketing Association's meeting in Vancouver. It was about building online communities. There were four presenters. Each were extremely interesting so I have started a series of articles on my business blog. Check out my first article about Building Online Communities.

New Website Posted for Pemberton Soaring Center

My company have just posted a new website... www.pembertsoaring.com. I have never been in a glider plane before. I must admit I'm a little afraid of flying. I'm OK flying in a jet and the bigger the better. But after viewing the soaring and gliding videos on this new site I'd be tempted to try it.... maybe after a good belt of premium Scotch.

I have been working on an Internet marketing plan to help continue improve website visibility for www.alpinewhistler.com. If you have some time please visit the website and let me know if you think the current website's "drop down" navigation is OK or too complicated. We always appreciate this sort of feedback.
