Whistler Cornucopia 2007 - Parties & Events

Whistler's Cornucopia run November 8 to 12, 2007. It's Whistler celebration of food and wine. The event includes the legendary Crush - an incredible food and wine tasting event. There are several dinners and after-parties that make this one of the biggest events of the year in the Resort.

For those hockey fans, Vancouver Canucks fans had a great time during the run to the Stanley Cup finals last spring (2007). I just got a great photo of our friends at Aloha Whistler Accommodations. The accommodation's team had just stepped out of their limo on way to the Vancouver Canucks playoff game. Unfortunately the Canucks lost this game but a great time was had by a lot of Vancouver fans.

Our First PayPal Enabled Website

We just posted our first PayPal enabled website. Coyote Arts & Custom Framing offers online purchases of First Nations' art, jewelry, unique gifts and pottery. Coyote also has a retail shop where they do custom picture framing. Be sure to check them out.

We're in the process of building some more ecommerce sites integrating PayPal into the ecommerce modules.

Orange County --- Doing Business Virtually

We've just started work on a Website for Dr. Aria Irvani, who provides general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry in Orange County California. Thanks to Dr. Irvani for choosing Custom Fit for site optimization and Internet marketing services.

By the way, that's not far from Anaheim -- home of the 2007 Stanley Cup champions Ducks. I wonder when that Cup will come back to Canada? Since I was born in Toronto (I guess now known as the GTA - Greater Toronto Area - or TEE DOT OH) I'm still waiting for the Maple Leafs (a.k.a. the Maple Loafs?) to win it. I remember when the Leafs last won Lord Stanley mug.... way back in 1967. I guess I'm dating myself. Back then all we did was play hockey.... table hockey, street hockey, hockey on ponds or the outdoor community rink, penny hockey and of course hockey with my teams, the Thornhill Thunderbirds and St. Patrick Saints.

Internet Marketing Workshops in Pemberton BC

I'm hosting a special one-time Internet Marketing workshop in Pemberton BC Canada on Monday & Wednesday June 11 and 13, 6:30 to 9 p.m. This workshop is sponsored by Tourism Pemberton & Community Futures Development Corporation of Howe Sound.

Normally I charge $249 per workshop but for this event I'm only charging $20. What's the catch? You must be an active member of the Pemberton & District Chamber of Commerce. That's it.

New Website Posted for Pemberton Soaring Center

My company have just posted a new website... www.pembertsoaring.com. I have never been in a glider plane before. I must admit I'm a little afraid of flying. I'm OK flying in a jet and the bigger the better. But after viewing the soaring and gliding videos on this new site I'd be tempted to try it.... maybe after a good belt of premium Scotch.
